Kakao推出了一個新的表情符號,叫做’RYAN’. 小編首次看到這個RYAN, 就認為是個熊, 而Kakao表示: “我們推出的新表情符號’RYAN’是沒有鬣毛的一只雄獅子”. 不管Kakao怎麼說,大家都能看得出來,這個RYAN,其實長得很相似於LINE的BROWN.
在韓已占絕對優勢的Kakao, 為何陸續推出表情符號?
小編認為Kakao逐漸重視表情符號的原因可有兩個:
一個是雖然在韓國聊天工具市場上Kakao已占絕對優勢,而包括海外市場, LINE的MAU以及銷售額都是大於Kakao. 小便認為Kakao通過表情符號,不僅可以吸引更多用戶,而且提高用戶留存率, 加之上可以擴大聊天工具市場分額.
另外一個是韓國表情符號自體市場快速增長, Kakao不能錯過這個好機會. 韓國線上表情符號市場已達1,000億韓元的規模, 如果包括關聯產品, 其市場規模約達5,000億韓元的規模了.
